Η Αγγελική (Λίκα) Κ. Χασιώτη, δημότης του Δήμου Λοκρών και συγκεκριμένα της Δ.Ε. Αταλάντης ψηφίστηκε την 26/6/2014 Τακτική Καθηγήτρια Α΄ Βαθμίδος στο Πανεπιστήμιο του Λονδίνου, στην έδρα της Παιδοψυχιατρικής ύστερα από έρευνα 27 ετών.
Το γεγονός αυτό αποτελεί ιδιαίτερη τιμή για την χώρα της ,τον τόπο καταγωγής της και τους οικείους της.
